This year Puppets & Design EU Festival will be hosted by Festival Nekropolis in Prague from 4th to 11th November 2022.

The only festival of puppet theatre for adults in Prague. For the sixth year, Nekropolis brings to the Czech Republic international companies from the field of experimental theatre, as well as classic performances by legendary puppeteers. The evenings are dedicated to live theatre music and world music, which builds up into all-night jam sessions.

Nekropolis showcases diverse modern theatrical movements that combine drama, concert, movement, object theatre and multimedia. Acropolis Palace will come alive with the theme of death from 4th to 11th November 2022.

This year, artists from Belgium, Italy, France, Slovenia, Spain and the Czech Republic will present performances that combine black humour, a strong visual and musical component and virtuosity.
